To NASP® Alumni:
My name is Courtnie Carr and I am excited to announce that I have been selected as the new NASP® Alumni Association Director. While a student, I participated in NASP® at Western Hills High School and met some of my closest friends to date through that team setting. I hold my NASP® experience in high esteem as it was a springboard for what I have accomplished in college archery.
Since the beginning of NASP® in 2002, more than 18 million students have learned archery fundamentals, safety, cooperation, and sportsmanship in a NASP® setting. However, most importantly, students had fun and made memories along the way. By implementing the NASP® Alumni Association, our vision is to reconnect former archers, encourage involvement in the outdoors, and give back to archers currently competing in NASP®.
By joining the NASP® Alumni Association you will gain the opportunity to dust off your skills and continue shooting and competing! There will be an exclusive alumni event held on March 15th, 2019 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Alumni Association members are invited to socialize, win prizes, and earn the opportunity to donate funds to a NASP® school of their choosing. Members of the NASP® Alumni Association will also be provided with information about exciting outdoor opportunities just for alumni, as well as discover how to volunteer and support existing NASP® programs. There may even be an opportunity to establish a scholarship fund for NASP® archers that want to pursue a post-secondary education. When you sign up for your membership, you will notice a tiered giving system. Anything above the base level will be used to support alumni efforts that you, the alumni, will decide on. Check out how to purchase your membership and visit the alumni online store here.
This is such an exciting time to be a part of NASP®. I hope you will join me in aiding students experience everything NASP® has to offer. I hope to see all of you at our event in March and look forward to seeing the amazing things that a group of passionate, intelligent archers can accomplish.
